What is Exercise
Exercise is universally accepted as an essential part of being human. In
order for the body to function at a normal level, it is considered wise to
exercise. Essentially, exercise works the muscles contained within our
body and this in turn increases the amount of oxygen within our bodies
system, which in turn helps the body to break down body fat into energy.
Exercise can also lower your blood glucose levels, cholesterol levels and
blood pressure level, thus reducing your risk for suffering some of the
major health problems, such as a heart attack, or diabetes. Exercise also
helps your body to produce more of its natural insulin and helps your
blood circulation, which all helps the body to complete its normal daily
functions.
Although the average persons daily routine was once adequate for
avoiding such problems, with such modern inventions as the car and
Television, more people must now invest in a gym membership, or fitness
program in order to maintain a normal level of fitness. However, with
modern technology, you can now exercise in front of the television and
you can always park a few blocks away from work and walk.
