Body Pump



Body Pump is the latest craze in fitness programs that has launched itself
into gyms around the world. It combines an Aerobics styled routine with
weight lifting techniques. Body Pump is being hailed as the fastest way to
tone the body and increase body strength. Usually lasting between 45-50
minutes, body pump training is set to intoxicating rhythmic beats.

During body pump classes, students require an Aerobics step, a mat, or
towel, a bar bell and a set of weights. Weights can range between small
to medium large, depending upon a students individual body pump level. It
is recommended that you attend a beginner's class; prior to attempting a
normal body pump class, as some of the routines used in body pump
require a certain technique.

Although initially, body pump classes will leave your muscles feeling soar
and you will feel tired, after a few weeks of attending Body pump
classes your muscles will have adapted and you will be enjoying the
benefits that occur. Your muscles will begin to tone and tighten and you
will begin to enjoy a sounder nights sleep.
